This lovely cafe and tea house has quickly become a treasured gem within the local community, offering much more than just refreshments—it delivers a warm, inviting atmosphere where every visitor feels welcomed and valued.

From the moment you step inside Sadie's Tea Room, you sense an authentic, heartfelt dedication to hospitality. The decor strikes a perfect balance between quaint and stylish, exuding a “nanna charm” that customers like Julie Dowson-Frost found absolutely enchanting. Whether you choose to sit inside amid the tasteful, clean surroundings or outside enjoying the fresh air, the spacious seating ensures ample comfort for all guests.

The menu at Sadie’s caters wonderfully to both casual drop-ins and those looking for a satisfying breakfast or indulgent afternoon treat. Customers often praise the breakfast specials, like the £7 hearty morning meal commended by Jamie Green for its excellent value and satisfying flavors. The coffee, consistently described as rich and smooth, pairs beautifully with freshly baked scones, ideal for a comforting mid-morning break—Elaine Merrett found these simple delights “great value” and “really enjoyable.”

For sweet lovers, the tea room offers baked goods that can evoke pure bliss. Alex Wild’s praise for the plum slice as “a slice of heaven on a plate” speaks volumes, even if some cakes, like the victoria sandwich, might not always hit everyone’s mark. Staff were friendly, lots of seating inside and out, plenty of choice on the menu, clean premises, toilets were clean and smelled lovely. I accidentally broke a plate and offered to pay to replace it but smiley lady said there was no need. Definitely worth a visit, pay cash if possible so you can give the staff a well deserved tip! I'll be back again.

The coffee is really nice, not struck on the victoria sandwich cake (tad dry). The plum slice is just a slice of heaven on a plate. Bit too busy and noisy for my liking, but there again, any eaterie in a local community needs to be busy to survive, but I can tell you it''s worth the visit just for the village. Staff are nice and friendly.
